Progress on Gallic Vets

Before Christmas I received a resin mold from top man Scott at Templar Games of some Gallic Heads I head sculpted by Stavros. I have yet to master properly the vacuum molding process for these guys, but in the meantime I have been experimenting, adding the heads I have from a test cast (done by Scott!) to some plastic Legionary and Carthaginian figure bodies.
Here’s the progress so far. I’m probably going to put our new plastic Aspis shields on the 2 ‘Noble’ looking body & head combos, and Thureos on the 2 ‘lesser’ tribesman bodies, although I’m holding off for now as I think I should paint them up before adding shields? I think a few units of these guys in a variety of poses will look good in my Veteran Carthaginian Army. Now, if I can get cracking with the whole Gallic range, they would have even more company! So many figures, so little time…aargh!!
